Washington-Oregon : Saturday May 26, Cathy and I flew to Seattle, rented a car and traveled down the Oregon coast to California, then we returned to Seattle via Portland to start our Alaska cruise on the following Friday.

California Redwoods : We overnighted in Crescent City, California, north of the Redwood parks, and the next day went as far south as Orrick and then back north through the Smith river NRA and into Oregon to pick up I5 north to Portland..
